Steak it Out

Manny’s Steakhouse, Zagat-ranked top steakhouse in America—shuts its doors in the Hyatt Regency and re-greets faithful steak-eaters August 13th in its new Foshay Tower location. This is more than just a move; it’s a transformation. New menu items, lunch service, a larger bar, reinvigorated décor, valet parking and an early breakfast will all be added to Manny’s repertoire.

A BeerFest to Impress

The AutumnBrew Review, an outdoor festival dedicated to the consumption and adoration of fine, locally-crafted brews, hits Minneapolis September 27. This year the event will take place in the parking lot of the historic Grain Belt Brewery's in Northeast Minneapolis. Tickets go on sale August 15.

Dancing into Downtown

Neighborhoods like Eat Street and Northeast Minneapolis have traditionally cornered the ethnic cuisine market, but downtown rarely claimed the fame. Until now. The owners of Northeast favorite Nalapak have opened Dancing Ganesha, bringing their choice Indian food to the city center. Summertime is in full swing and so are local farmer’s markets. Pick up homegrown healthy foods and local arts and crafts at one of over a dozen fairs around town. No matter what day of the week, you can find fresh fare in Minneapolis. For example, visit Midtown Farmers Market for an early week fix on Tuesdays. Or head to downtown’s Nicollet Mall market on Thursdays. And don’t miss the selection at Mill City on Saturdays.
