Swedish Heritage TourWalk in the footsteps of Minnesota’s Swedish Immigrants. The journey begins in Chisago City with a stop to see the memorial of famed Swedish author Wilhelm Moberg. Next on the tour is “Little Sweden’s” Lindstrom. Lindstrom is a picturesque, idyllic small town. The area that now makes up the town was originally settled by Swedish immigrants, who found that the woods and water reminded them of their native land.

We’ll see the following Swedish Historic sites: Karl Oskar and Kristina Statue, The Emigrant Stone, a gift from Duvemala Sweden, Glader Cemetery, the first burial ground for pioneers of the Chisago Lakes Area and regarded as the fictional burial ground of Karl Oskar and Kristina, Gustaf Anderson House, C.A. Victor House, the Swedish Coffee Pot Water Tower, the Karl Oskar House and the Gammelgarden Museum.

Lunch is included in the price of the tour.
