Holidazzle Parade

Thursday through Sunday nights from November 28th to December 21st, you’ll see characters from your favorite bedtime stories—along with Mr. Claus himself—lit up and glowing in a remarkable, holiday-o-rific downtown parade.
A Christmas Carol Season
Craving an old-fashioned Christmas? Catch a performance of A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theater. Touted as “the perennial family holiday entertainment,” they play is in its 34th year at the Guthrie. Its classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge reveals the importance of compassion and giving—a perfect message for the holiday season.
Macy’s 8th Floor Auditorium Show
For the 46th year in a row, Macy's downtown turns its eighth floor auditorium into a holiday spectacle for the public. This year’s free show will feature "A Day in the Life of an Elf at Macy's Santaland," and will run from November 8 – December 24.
Great Winter Finds
Winterfest
Chase out the winter chill with Winterfest, presented by the MN Craft Brewers Guild. You’ll be able to sample the best beer brewed in Minnesota. Held inside the Landmark Center in Saint Paul, the event will include beer, food and live jazz music.
Winter Carnival
Holidays over but still in the mood for merriment? From January 22 to February 1, visit the Winter Carnival, held in downtown Saint Paul. The event Includes a tour-able Ice Castle, sculptures galore and hosts parades, coronations, carving contests and art exhibits. The whole deal attracts more than 350,000 visitors each year.
